Year 11 & 12 update As you may be aware, SMCS has been undergoing the process of seeking registration to commence Year 11 & 12 in 2014/15.
A significant aspect of this process has been the SMCS Board seeking advice from Resolve Consulting. Based on the financial report we received, the SMCS Board have decided to defer pursuing the registration or commencement of Yr 11/12 until there are adequate students and finances to proceed. This decision is based on Paul Campey’s report dated 12th December 2012.
The Board is aware that this news is likely to be quite disappointing. Having said that, we have a wonderful school to be proud of and is worth endorsing and promoting.
There will be more information about this at the P&F “Meet and
Greet” night (Tuesday 26th February) when Board members and staff will be present to answer your questions. Principal, Mr Allan Fjording. |
