Kindy Start 2024

We welcome any child considering Kindergarten in 2024 to come along and find out what "big school" is all about!

SMCS Kindy Start is a short-term program, held 9am-12pm on the first 3 Tuesday mornings in November.

This program enables your child to become familiar with going to school and some of the daily activities in which they will participate. It also allows teachers the opportunity to develop relationships, and provide feedback to the parents, making the transition to school easier for your child.

Students arrive at SMCS dressed in their casual clothes with their school bag packed with:

• fruit for fruit break
• morning tea
• a bottle of water
• a sunhat. 

They learn where to put their school bag and go through the regular morning routine, meeting older students and playing with their new friends.
